Balkan War

The "Old Bridge" was destroyed in the war between Serbs and Moslems on 9 November 1995. This also destroyed the link between the ethnic groups and their traditional meeting point over the centuries. The destruction symbolises the old cruel conflict between Catholics, Orthodox and Moslem believers.
