In the landscape garden in Wilton a bridge was built in 1737 according to the Palladio's design for the Rialto bridge in Venice which was never realised. The most famous construction by probably the most copied architect of the modern era is the "Villa Rotunda", which became a model for numerous seats of nobility in Europe and for classicistic buildings around the world.
