Data collection and analysis
The website providers automatically store data in so-called server-log files that your browser automatically sends us. This includes:

This data cannot be assigned to a particular person and is not combined with other data sources. We reserve the right to subsequently assess the data if a firm indication arises for illegal use. The data is not used for commercial purposes.
In order to be able to evaluate our website for statistical purposes we rely on a free web analytics software called AWStats. The program does not use cookie files for the evaluation, but instead relies on the server-log files. All data is stored on servers that are subject to German data protection laws. The data is exclusively used by us and is not passed on to third parties.
As a rule, our website can be used without any personal data being entered (e.g., name, address or email address). Should such data be collected, it is done so as far as possible only on a voluntary basis. Said data is not passed on to third parties without your prior consent and then only for the purposes that you have communicated to us. Any transfer to government agencies and institutions authorized to obtain information occurs only in the context of legal disclosure duties or if a court decision obliges us to release data.
SYou have the right at all times to obtain, free of charge, information on any data on your person we have stored, where it originated, who received it, and the purpose for which it was processed as well as a right to the data being corrected, blocked or deleted. Websites may use so-called cookies. These are small text files stored on your computer in your browser directory. They cause no damage to your computer, contain no viruses, and simply serve to enable us to make our services more user-friendly, effective and secure.

Our website uses plugins from the Google-operated YouTube platform. The site operator is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. If you visit one of our pages that uses a YouTube plugin you will be connected to a YouTube server. The YouTube server will be informed which of our pages you have visited.
If you are logged into your YouTube account, you enable YouTube to directly assign your surfing behaviour to your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account. For more information on the use of user data please consult YouTube's data privacy statement.
On our sites we make use of so-called “social plugins”. These are plugins from Facebook and Twitter and may under certain circumstances transmit information, which may include personal data, to the service providers, who may then possibly make use of the data. We prevent any unconscious and unintentional collection and transmission of data to service providers by means of a “2-click solution”. A desired plugin must be activated by clicking on the corresponding button. Only if activated in this way will a plugin collect information and transmit it to service providers.
We ourselves do not collect personal data by means of social plugins or the use of the same, but cannot influence what data an activated plugin collects and how it is then used by the service provider. At present, we must assume that at least the IP address and device-related information is gathered and used. It is also conceivable that service providers attempt to store cookies on the computer used.
Facebook’s “share” function establishes a direct connection to the services of Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA. In this way, Facebook is notified when you visit a specific website. Should you at the same time be logged in to Facebook, Facebook will be able to identify you as the user of a specific site. Mobile devices additionally enable you to share content from a website using messenger WhatsApp. Here, only an HTML link is generated, meaning that no user data is forwarded to third-party companies.
