Guided Tour

Permanent exhibition „Our History. Dictatorship and Democracy after 1945“

The permanent exhibition „Our History. Dictatorship and Democracy after 1945“ shows the development of Germany from the end of the Second World War to the present in a globalised 21st century. Our guided tour highlights central issues in the permanent exhibition: Why is the GDR established? Who holds power? How do people live, work, celebrate and exchange ideas? Why does the state fail? How have the two German states grown together since 1990? What questions and worries do citizens have today?
